Inclusive Resources Around Reproductive Experiences

I pride myself in always using gender neutral and inclusive language when talking about pretty much everything unless it is vitally important not to.

It is honestly my biggest pet peeve with this industry that this approach isn’t the standard, and is something I’m working hard to change, even just a bit.

If you’ve ever met me or looked at my instagram, you might already be aware… I’m passionate because I know how it can feel painful or dismissive to not see yourself represented, trust me I feel it too!

I absolutely can’t stand when the best, richest and/or helpful information available is only geared towards straight, cis women who are expecting. Luckily there are some really cool organisations out there who feel similarly and are committed to always being inclusive towards children and trans people.

Please see below about sending anything you find which may fit well.

A tree branch with small red and white berries and green leaves against a clear blue sky.
A smartphone, a spiral notebook, and a bouquet of tulips with green leaves on a wooden surface.

If you know of or provide any resources you think would fit here, please let me know. I would like to compile resources on every part of the reproductive journey. Menstruation, fertility/assisted fertility, conception, abortion/termination, immediate and long-term postpartum and so much more. All of these areas of information deserve person-first, gender neutral language to ensure everyone benefits from them.

If you’re submitting something you wrote or came across/know, thank you and I can’t wait to see what you send through!
